Eddie Nketiah started his final two games at Leeds but it hasn't been enough to prevent Arsenal from recalling the striker back to the club - just in time for the Whites' visit on Monday.

The striker had to wait until the match against Birmingham for his first league start and it seems that his overall lack of game time may have contributed to the decision from the Gunners.

Supporters have been reacting to the news and the responses are mixed, including some praise for the youngster and an appreciation of his efforts as well as requests that the club makes moves to replace him.

Nketiah scored five goals during his time of Elland Road, including winners against Brentford and a late equaliser against Preston to earn valuable points for the club, which is why many fans think he was a great player to have.

His departure is certainly a blow to Leeds despite him acting as a back-up player. Fans calling for reinforcements to replace the Arsenal man is understandable considering the Whites are pushing for promotion.

Rhian Brewster has been linked previously in another loan deal and since Patrick Bamford is now the only natural striker in the squad it is important that an addition is made this month.

A true test for any Leeds fan: Can you match these iconic images with the right results?

It will be interesting to see whether the loan market is used again or if the club pushes the boat out by bringing in an expensive permanent addition, possibly a player like Billy Sharp.

Leeds have also been linked with a move for Che Adams but Phil Hay has outlined two reasons why that could be a difficult move to pull off.
