Leicester vs. Man United confirmed starting XIs… Record-seeking star starts

Leicester vs. Manchester United… more like Jamie Vardy vs. Ruud van Nistelrooy. Just in case you aren’t aware the 28-year-old Leicester striker is on the verge of making history. Should Vardy score today, he’ll take his tally to 11 goals in 11 games and move ahead of Van Nistelrooy’s 10. Wow.

Unsurprisingly the Foxes man has once again battled off injury to have a go at making himself a bonafide history-maker, and he is joined by Riyad Mahrez – arguably the player of the season so far – in a strong XI. Danny Drinkwater is in behind and will hope to show the composure in the centre of midfield that he has over the opening 13 matches.

United are also strong, with Louis van Gaal once again going with Wayne Rooney in behind Anthony Martial. The in-form Jesse Lingard misses out, but Ashley Young and Juan Mata are set to provide width, while Matteo Darmian is back in at right-back.
