England manager Roy Hodgson is remaining coy over Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater’s chances of a national call up, report The Sun.
The Foxes star has been one of the best players in the league this season and a key part of their unlikely title surge.
Paired next to N’Golo Kante, the midfield pair have been one of the success stories of the season.
Due to his string of high class outings for the table toppers. there have been growing calls to see the 25-year old break into the Three Lions squad.
With Euro 2016 on the horizon, Hodgson will pit his wits against Holland and world champions Germany at this end of the month in preparation.
However, the 68-year old has kept his cards close to his chest on the matter and refused to single out the former Manchester United youngster.
‘There is a lot of people that get mentioned’, he told SkySports.
‘I don’t want to speak today and reveal too much about what my plans are.’
