Everton & Southampton transfer race concluded as PL club seal £7.4m deal

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Leicester City have agreed a deal to sign Everton and Southampton transfer target Bartosz Kapustka.

The midfielder is just 19 years of age but has already represented the Poland national team on eleven occasions, including an impressive performance against Northern Ireland at Euro 2016 that heralded praise from Foxes legend Gary Lineker.

The teenager currently plies his trade at club level with Cracovia, but is now on the verge of completing a transfer to Premier League champions Leicester City.

According to The Daily Mail, Everton and Southampton were both targeting Kapustka, alongside Dutch giants Ajax and Bundesliga outfit Cologne.

But it’s the Foxes who have come out on top in the battle for Kapustka’s signature, having agreed an initial £5.4million transfer deal with Cracovia that could eventually rise to £7.4million.

The prodigious midfielder bagged five goals and ten assists as his side finished third in the Polish Ekstraklasa last season.
