A fourth straight Champions League clean sheet meant that Leicester City claimed yet another point away at Copenhagen on Wednesday night. Claudio Ranieri's side have now guaranteed that their European adventure will continue, even if that does mean they drop down to the Europa League.

Success for Leicester in this competition was to not be humiliated and they did themselves proud once again. Not conceding a goal in four straight Champions League games is no mean feat. Seldom will an English team produce such a record, in fact. The Foxes might not be dominating the Premier League this year, but they are showing some capable European teams what they can do.

Challenges in the latter stages of this competition will be far harder than against, an admittedly impressive, Copenhagen. Far from the ferocious form of last season still, Leicester will need to tinker further if they are to pull off the unimaginable and make it into the quarter or semi finals.

Altogether now

Ahmed Musa and Jamie Vardy, despite struggling when paired previously, led the line for Leicester. Jeffrey Schlupp was given a rare appearance from the left flank, too.

Shinji Okazaki, after some flamboyant praise from Claudio Ranieri, was surprisingly left out of the eleven.

Resolute defence

Boasting a spotless record before this game, Kasper Schmeichel and his defence were in no hurry to give that up.

Schmeichel might have been worried by the summer transfer activity, but the Dane has cemented his place as first choice with a string of impressive performances.

Wake me up when its over

We can assume that Danny Drinkwater was not just having a lie down, but you wouldn't blame him if he was.

Leicester nor Copenhagen will deny that this was a rather tedious affair. Two teams who were unharmed by a draw settled for a drab 0-0.

Pay Attention, Lads

Both managers were vocal for much of the game, but neither could make sufficient changes to force a victory and, all in all, both will have been relatively satisfied to have avoided defeat.

A tight victory for Porto over Club Brugge puts a little more pressure on Copenhagen, however.

Valuable time

Given the troubles Leicester have had domestically this season, any extra, low-stress time on the field can only be beneficial to their continued development as a side.

Shinji Okazaki is the unheralded hero of this Leicester City team, but Ranieri used this game as an opportunity to experiment with a different front two, meaning the tireless Japanese forward only enjoyed a late cameo.
