Let’s just hope this isn’t the last award that he’ll be picking up this season.

After what has been a pretty fantastic month for Leicester, with the 9-0 victory over Southampton undoubtedly the high point, it was always going to be hard for one player to stand out above the rest, but someone had to take the plaudits, and… it’s Jamie Vardy.

Having scored four goals in three games, including a hat-trick in that game down at St Mary’s, Vardy was awarded with the EA Sports Player of the Month for October, to go along with his award PFA Fans' Player of the Month.

So naturally, fans were more than happy to pile on the praise for the 32-year-old forward on social media, as if he needs any more of it.

You wonder if this is just the start of something special once again at the King Power, just like his streak in 2015 setting the stage for them winning the title later in the year.

Whilst Player of the Month is pretty good, just imagine what the reaction would be if he won Player of the Year, or maybe even the Ballon d'Or? (I mean, it’s not impossible)
