Many thought that Manchester City and Liverpool would be fighting it out for the Premier League title this term, but in the end, there is another team that has split the two.

The Reds do lead the way as it stands, but it is Leicester City who are their closest rivals, albeit eight points behind. Against Everton this weekend, they were hoping stay in touch and keep themselves in an unlikely title race.

They did manage to get the victory against the Toffees, but they did it the hard way, needing to come back from a one-goal deficit to eventually prevail 2-1. Even then it was only thanks to a late Kelechi Iheanacho strike.

It was a good day for the Nigeria international, who scored on his first league appearance of the campaign, whilst he also provided the assist for Jamie Vardy's equaliser.
