Leicester readying sensational £40m double Premier League raid, will rival Arsenal and Spurs for targets

Premier League champions Leicester City are already planning for next season and pressing ahead with plans to launch a sensational double £40m raid on their rivals, according to the Sun.

Fresh from their title celebrations at the King Power Stadium last night, attentions have already reportedly turned to improving the squad for next season.

History making manager Claudio Ranieri has largely relied on a reasonably small group of players during this most unlikely of usurping, though will no doubt have to bolster his options with a Champions League campaign on the horizon.

To that end, they are thought to have cast their eyes of Troy Deeney and Yannick Bolasie of Watford and Crystal Palace respectively and are lining up a £40m swoop.

Deeney has adapted to life in the Premier League well with the Hornets and is thought to be a big interest to those in the East Midlands.

Still, it will be a difficult task trying to prize him away from Hertfordshire, where he captains the side.

His form earlier this season is believed to have attracted the interest of Arsenal.

Bolasie, meanwhile, is understood to have been a £20m target for Tottenham after impressing this season with a series of scintillating displays on the wing for the Eagles.
