Leicester City are set to make Sporting Gijon ace Luis Hernandez their first signing this summer, according to reports from the Sun.
Leicester have just come off an incredible season, in which they defied the odds to become Premier League champions for the first time in their history.
This means that the Foxes, who were 5000-1 outsiders, will now be competing in the Champions League next term, and new signings are expected to arrive this summer.
And it looks like Gijon defender Luis Hernandez will be their first capture, with the Spaniard playing an integral part in keeping the club in La Liga.
The 26-year-old is seen as the perfect player to cover for defensive duo Robert Huth and Wes Morgan, and his arrival can pave the way for Ben Chilwell to join Liverpool.
A big bonus for Leicester is that Hernandez will arrive for free, meaning Ranieri can focus his funds on strengthening elsewhere.
Hernandez has made 37 appearances for Gijon this term, scoring no goals.
