Leicester City retain an interest in AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang and plan to launch a fresh attempt at landing him this summer, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The league leading Foxes were said to have made a bid for the jet heeled French under-21 international over the course of the January transfer window, though were unable to push a deal over the line.
However, they are believed to have retained their interest in the wide man and will be able to offer him the chance of playing Champions League football next season at the King Power Stadium.
German giants Borussia Dortmund are also reported to be in the race as the former Caen prodigy continues to return from an ankle injury he picked up in Italy back in February.
Claudio Ranieri’s men currently lead the top tier of English football by a whopping seven points with just six games remaining and are on course to pull off the most unlikely title win of all time.
