Wow… just WOW. Jamie Vardy is now officially a Premier League record holder, with his 11 goals in 11 games having taken him above Manchester United's Ruud van Nistelrooy. Simply stunning. Few predicted that the 28-year-old would be able to maintain his form, but the striker has been simply untouchable for a while now, and even the Red Devils’ defence – the best in the division – couldn’t keep him at bay.

It’s mad to think that just a few years ago Vardy was plying his trade in the non-league, and his finish past David de Gea was one more akin to the Premier League than venues like the Hackney Marshes.
