The former Feyenoord winger is currently a free agent but has been on trial with a number of English clubs recently, including Buxton, Tranmere, Oldham, Leicester City and Manchester United.
Consequentially, the 20-year-old is highly-rated and has already picked up one cap at senior level, representing Curacao back in 2014.
Team Talk revealed at the start of August that Martis had gone on trial at Old Trafford after scoring a spectacular goal for Oldham in a pre-season friendly.
The same publication now claim the Red Devils are still interested in the youngster, but Premier League champions Leicester City are set to make him a contract offer.
The Foxes plan to sign Martis before sending him out on loan to gain further first-team experience. United, on the other hand, want him to link up with their U23 squad.
