Premier League winner drops intriguing Leicester City hint…

Robin van Persie has been linked with a move to West Ham and Crystal Palace in recent days but it could be the Premier League champions Leicester that become his new club.

The Dutchman has been put up for sale by Fenerbahce after an indifferent time in Turkey and considering the former Manchester United man’s recent followings on Twitter, a move to the Foxes could be imminent.

Van Persie was bought by Sir Alex Ferguson to win Manchester United the league in 2012/13 nd wrestle the title back from neighbours Manchester City which he duly delivered on as the Red Devils won their 20th league crown.

Since then though the striker has struggled to find the form that made him one of the most dangerous strikers in Europe but maybe Claudio Ranieri feels he can get the best out of him.

Van Persie himself might fancy his chances to regularly find the net again with the likes of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez buzzing around so small wonder then, that he’s followed the pair of them recently on Twitter…
