Two late goals spared Leicester City’s blushes somewhat but weren’t enough to prevent defeat at the hands of a rampant Bournemouth side on Saturday. Whilst the home side at the Vitality Stadium played clinical and fast-paced attacking football, the Foxes were ponderous and defensively shambolic. Captain Wes Morgan’s red card was indicative of the sloppiness and carelessness of Leicester’s game.
The result marked Leicester’s third defeat of the campaign so far and manager Claude Puel may now come under some pressure at the King Power Stadium. The French boss certainly can’t afford many more performances like yesterday’s before he finds his job on the line.
For many Leicester fans, Puel should be out of a job already. Yesterday’s performance and result only served to further intensify the feeling of disillusionment with Puel being felt by this group of supporters. After the final whistle, plenty of frustrated Foxes fans took to Twitter to criticise the manager and question his future at the club.

Never liked Puel and it seems many just erased the awful second half of last season. We should have cut our losses then, instead we’ve backed him with more millions and I think we will have a much harder season than you might think.

Is it time to cut our loses and get Rodgers?

Puel out. Sack the dinosaur, trying to play a system 10 years out of date #lcfc
