Liverpool 4-3 Man City: City fans’ Player Ratings

There is no shame in losing at Anfield, especially when it’s by a 4-3 scoreline and especially when it’s in a match as engrossing as what Liverpool and Manchester City produced on Sunday. While City will be left infuriated by a nine-minute spell in the second half during which they conceded three goals, the Premier League’s pace-setters still dug deep to find the net twice more late on after Leroy Sane’s earlier strike – and never gave up in search of a positive result on Merseyside.

But Manchester City’s first domestic defeat of the campaign does inevitably raise questions over which individuals were most culpable and who failed to pull their weight. Goalkeeper Ederson drew some criticism for his roles in the first and fourth Liverpool goals, while Raheem Sterling endured another torrid return to Anfield and Sergio Aguero certainly wasn’t his usual, electric self.

So, Manchester City fans, who do you think were the Citizens’ best and worst players against the Reds? Here’s the perfect chance to have your say by giving each player a rating out of 10 for their performance on Sunday…
