The 27-year-old wide-man has been one of the top performers in La Liga this season, with his 12 goals in 16 games the highest tally of any player away from the Barcelona and Real Madrid duopoly in the division.
And reports claim that these performances have attracted, among others, Liverpool and Arsenal, who have both sent scouts to the Riazor in the past few weeks to watch him in action.
The likelihood of a move is unknown, but the Spanish club are by no means financial heavyweights in their homeland and were only promoted back to the top tier in 2014 after a period of success in the early 2000s.
Although Perez has been impressive of late, he’s endured a nomadic career, spending time in Ukraine with Karpaty Lviv and Dynamo Kiev, as well as in Greece with PAOK.
He was on loan at Deportivo last term and signed permanently for the club over the summer.
