Liverpool, Chelsea & Spurs target admits January interest strong

Seydou Doumbia has revealed that he has plenty of offers to leave CSKA Moscow in January, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham understood to be interested.

The Ivorian forward has been in fine form this season, with his three goals in two games against Manchester City having boosted his profile across Europe.

CSKA are attempting to tie him down to a new deal, but the likes of Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea are thought to be watching closely with £15m+ offers on their agendas.

Everton and Newcastle are other sides in the mix, and Doumbia has confessed that, although he’s talking to his current side, interest from English teams is real:

“I am talking with CSKA about renewing my contract, but there is interest in me.” He is quoted by The Express.

“There’s a lot from England, Spain, Germany and Italy. However I am under contract at CSKA so I have to talk with them too.”

Chelsea are understood to have come close to signing Doumbia over the summer, while Liverpool and Spurs have been impressed by his showings so far tis term.
