Having played for some of the biggest clubs in world football, won league titles in Holland, Spain, Italy and France, you may think that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has done it all. You’d be wrong.
Manchester United’s goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield tonight extended an unwanted record for the Swedish striker, who has never emerged victorious over the Reds at any stage in his career- which is pretty remarkable.

Sure, five appearances isn’t necessarily enough to make a telling impact, just ask Paul Pogba, but failing to win any of those matches is certainly not good enough; with Ibrahimovic failing to emerge victorious over the Merseyside outfit when playing for Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan and Manchester United.
We’ll be honest though, considering the amount of accolades Ibrahimovic has to his name, we can’t imagine the Swedish striker would be too disheartened by these figures.
Then again, he does like his ego to be caressed so these numbers doing the rounds won’t go down too well. His mammoth pay-cheque in Manchester will probably soften the blow though.
