Parachuted in at just about the furthest point from a transfer window to save a team stumbling towards midtable after a lifeless few weeks under Brendan Rodgers, Jurgen Klopp found himself with a big task on his hands upon arriving at Liverpool. The hysteria surrounding the German led to a feeling that he may be the messiah at Anfield given his heroics at Dortmund, and even though his opening few matches showed many of the frailties that characterised the end of his predecessor’s reign, things have got better and better as the weeks have passed.
Liverpool are now riding high on a three-game winning streak and finding themselves just six points off leaders Manchester City and Leicester, which really does put into perspective the influence Klopp has had – after all, Spurs, who have enjoyed a very good start, are a mere two points ahead of the Reds.
The 48-year-old looks to have revived players like Roberto Firmino, Dejan Lovren and Jordon Ibe, but with January on the horizon its almost certain that he’ll look for a few of his own additions. And with that in mind, here are 10 names to have been aligned with the club… so read a bit about them and vote for the one you want below!
