75% possession, no goal… Liverpool fans want German boss now

After last weekend’s FA Cup semi-final loss at the hands of Aston Villa and Jurgen Klopp’s Dortmund exit, Brendan Rodgers was always going to be under pressure if his side could not win, and win well, at West Brom. After all, top four hopes, albeit slim ones, hinged on a three-point haul. But now the position looks to be Manchester City’s unless the wheels fall off and catch fire!

After the drab 0-0 in which the Reds enjoyed 75% possession yet failed to truly threaten the Baggies’ goal, it was only natural that calls would be made… and made they have been! Twitter is now awash with disillusioned Kopites, who are frustrated with the lack of progress being made at their club. They have a point, it’s now three trophy-less seasons under Rodgers, while a lack of Champions League action will hinder summer transfer plans…
