Liverpool romped to another Premier League victory at home to Stoke City on Tuesday night, a win that puts them back into second place in the table.
It was an impressive showing, especially considering they went 1-0 down to the visitors after a Jonathan Walters header.
From that point on Liverpool dominated the game and goals from Lallana, Firmino, Sturridge helped them to a 4-1 win, with the other resulting from an own goal.
It was Adam Lallana who was the inspiration for the comeback, his lovely finish from a tight angle in front of the Kop was the effort that equalised the game and sent the Reds on their way.
The England international is having a fantastic season. That was his 7th goal of the campaign already with a further 6 assists contributed over the piece.
There have been times in his Liverpool career that the Anfield faithful didn’t think he’d make it, but since Jurgen Klopp came in, he’s looked brand new.
This stat from Squawka emphasises that. It shows that the attacker has more than doubled his goal output and vastly improved his assist rate since the German took charge.
It’s the kind of player improvement that has Liverpool fans raving about Klopp. If he can keep the Reds on their upward trajectory, anything is possible…
