The Croatian club are famed for their ability to churn out promising young talent and the 21-year-old appears to be the next along the conveyor belt.
Indeed, Pjaca has already made 90 appearances for Zagreb, scoring 26 goals, and represented his country three times at Euro 2016 – taking his senior tally to ten caps since his September 2014 debut.
Gazzetta dello Sport reported last month that Liverpool had seen a £12million bid for Pjaca rejected by Zagreb, whilst interest from Inter Milan and Roma was also mentioned by the Italian publication.
But it appears the Reds are still very much in the race to sign the former Lokomotiva starlet, following the latest comments from Zagreb sporting director Marko Vukelic.
Discussing Pjaca’s future, he exclusively told FC Inter News last Saturday; “The boy has been very clear through his Facebook profile that there has been no agreement with Inter and he is still a player for Dynamo Zagreb.
“He’s now on vacation then he will be at our disposal but there are a few possibilities with other clubs including Inter. I will say that his future looks to be in the Premier League and clubs over there are in pole-position to sign him.”
