The Reds shelled out a whopping £32.5million to sign the Belgium international last summer, after bagging 49 goals across three seasons at former club Aston Villa.
But the 25-year-old has struggled to transition that potency to Merseyside and found himself out in the cold after Jurgen Klopp took the managerial reigns from Brendan Rodgers in October.
Indeed, Benteke made just 14 Premier League starts this season and has accordingly been linked with a move away from Anfield in the build-up to the summer transfer window.
But when asked on a potential departure, agent Kismet Eris told Sport Witness that he’s currently discussing “nothing at all with any team”.
Furthermore, when asked whether he expected Benteke to stay on Merseyside this summer, Eris simply replied “yes.”
