Turkish giants Besiktas are plotting a loan move for Liverpool forward Divock Origi in January, according to Aksam.

What's the word?

The impressive displays of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah make it extremely difficult for other attackers to make an impression at Liverpool, while the resurgence of Daniel Sturridge and the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri has further strengthened the Reds' attacking ranks.

That has left Belgium forward Divock Origi in a difficult position as the 23-year-old is yet to feature in the Premier League so far this season and could be on the way out in January, as Turkish outlet Aksam state Besiktas are eyeing a move.

After seeing Cenk Tosun and Alvaro Negredo leave in the past year, Besiktas are desperate to land a new striker when the window opens in January and consider Origi to be a solid choice.

What should Liverpool do?

Origi needs games for the sake of his future and Liverpool cannot provide that, which makes a loan the most likely scenario. However, with Origi spending time at Lille and Wolfsburg in recent years and not particularly impressing, Klopp should really consider a sale.

Signed for a reported £10m fee in 2014, the future looked bright for Origi at a time where Liverpool were seeking a replacement for Luis Suarez after his move for Barcelona. However, they found their man a year later after signing Roberto Firmino.

Cashing-in would hand Klopp funds to strengthen his squad in other positions and a sale would also suit the player, who was a regular for Belgium four years ago but has earned just two caps since the start of 2017.
