Mario Balotelli’s future ahead of the summer transfer window is up in the air, with neither Liverpool nor AC Milan keen to have him in their squads for next season, according to reports.
The 25-year-old Italy international is currently on loan at the San Siro after failing to make an impact at Anfield in his debut season following his £16m move from Milan.
Despite some initial positivity, Balotelli’s spell back in the red and black shirt has been littered with the same disappointment, and reports from TuttoMercatoWeb (citing Sky Italia) claim that his agent, Mino Raiola, has met with Rossoneri officials, and it’s now clear that the Serie A club don’t want to keep him permanently.
As well as this, Liverpool see no future for ‘Balo’ on Merseyside, which leaves the powerful centre-forward short of options.
He may be forced to make a shock move to China, with Jiangsu Suning keen.
