The German World Cup winner spent eighteen months in the Premier League with Chelsea but after a stuttered start to his second season, moved back to the Bundesliga with Die Wolfe in summer 2015.
But the winger-forward has been linked with a return to the English top flight ahead of the summer transfer window, amid reports claiming he’s unsettled at the Volkswagen Arena.
But according to The Daily Star, Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has made it clear the 50-cap international won’t be allowed to leave the Bundesliga club during the coming transfer window.
As quoted by the British tabloid, he said; “I don’t even want to open the door even a bit. We have clearly said that we will not sell Andre.”
