It's certainly an exciting time to be a Liverpool fan.Not only are the Reds playing some of the most thrilling football on the planet, but the situation off the pitch also seems to be blossoming quite well for them.Of course, their current ventures in the Premier League are a well documented fact as Jurgen Klopp has cemented himself at the very peak of the mountain and is 22 points clear of his nearest rival, Manchester City. But Carl Markham, a Merseyside reporter, has recently shared a rather intriguing image of the proposed view of Anfield from Stanley Park following the stand redevelopment that's due to take place.

Express & Star note that Liverpool hope to begin work on their £60m Anfield Road redevelopment by the end of the current year and if everything goes according to plan, it should be open for business in the summer of 2022.

The planning permission should be submitted this spring, the same source notes, with work due to commence in the latter months of 2020.

And when everything is said and done, the proposed rebuild of the Anfield Road stand should add 5,200 general admission seats and 1,800 for hospitality and take the ground’s overall capacity to around 61,000, which is quite impressive, to say the least.

All in all, this sounds like a rather exciting project that should only help increase Liverpool's connection with the fans.
