However, they dispatched Brendan Rodgers' men with relative ease in a performance that was one of champions, surely pushing them a step closer to their first title of the Premier League era.

As per usual van Dijk was a rock at the back for the visitors, as they not only racked up four goals but also kept a clean sheet on their travels while keeping Jamie Vardy quiet in the process.
