Philippe Coutinho's Barcelona career looks as though it is already approaching its end.

The Brazil international only made the move to Spain from Liverpool in January of 2018 but, after just 76 appearances, he has already been shipped out on loan to Bayern Munich. Although the Bavarians reportedly don't want to sign him permanently, there appears to be a number of Premier League clubs who would take him off the Blaugrana's hands, including Tottenham, Manchester United and the Reds.

Much harder than you'd think... Can you name Liverpool's top scorers for each of these 25 seasons?

Unrelated to these fresh rumours, the 27-year-old has been talking to Sports Illustrated, and he has insinuated that he has no regrets over departing Merseyside. He explained: "Liverpool is flying, and it doesn’t surprise me. We’ve seen it already last year when it won the Champions League, but I’m also not surprised because of their fantastic squad and manager.

"I am so happy for them, because I have so many friends there, former teammates - so I’m just so happy for them, but that’s all. I don’t look back. I took another path, and now I am on another journey, much like everyone else. I’m focused entirely - just like them - on reaching my dreams. I’m happy with what I did in the past, and now I can only look forward."

Liverpool reporter Dave O'Connell shared the quotes on his Twitter page, as you can see below.

That tweet has got plenty of Reds supporters talking, and many have not forgiven him his exit.

It was no secret that the former Internazionale man wanted to make the move to the Camp Nou. Even six months before he eventually made the switch, there were already rumours that he was not putting in the effort in training in an attempt to force his way out.

Others, meanwhile, have accused him of ditching his friends.

His decision to make the move to La Liga is unlikely to have had anything to do with the players he shared a field with at Liverpool - and it is unlikely there will be any animosity towards him from the staff at the club either.

A couple of fans even suggested they would still like to see him return.

Coutinho was fantastic for the Reds, scoring 20 goals and providing 13 assists in his last 45 Premier League games for the club. It is hard to argue that he is considerably better than Keita seeing as the Guinea international has failed to make a real impact at Anfield - he has played just 16 times this season.

Nevertheless, Liverpool and Coutinho will always be intrinsically linked with one another.

Meanwhile, this Liverpool duo react to Naby Keita's Instagram post.
