And reports claim that Vieira has travelled to London as he looks to thrash out deals to sell Talisca and fellow attacker Eduardo Salvio.

The Lisbon giants are thought to be keen to raise funds through the departures of two of their key men, even though another attacking star in the shape of Nicolas Gaitan has been allowed to leave the Estadio da Luz in recent times.

A Bola give no indication of whom the Benfica big-shot will be talking to in regards to Talisca’s future, but given that Liverpool have been aligned with him in recent weeks, Reds officials could be engaging in conversations soon.

The 22-year-old is yet to be capped at senior international level, so a work permit application may be tricky for the Merseysiders, or any other interested English team.
