Very few people will have expected Shrewsbury to get any kind of result against Liverpool on Sunday.

And, at 2-0 down with 30 minutes left on the clock, even fewer would have backed the League One side to get anything against the Premier League leaders. However, a late collapse from the Reds allowed Jason Cummings to score twice and earn Salop a replay at Anfield.

This was by no means Liverpool's first XI, but there was still plenty of quality on the pitch. Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip may have been starting their first matches since returning from their respective injuries, but they have still featured regularly already this term, whilst Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino are first-team squad members.

Perhaps the biggest name of all amongst those to be included in Jurgen Klopp's starting XI was Fabinho. The Brazil international has also been out, since November with a ligament issue, and this FA Cup match was his first start of the New Year. Unfortunately for the 26-year-old, it was a disappointing display.

Call yourself a Liverpool expert? How much did each of these big-money January signings cost?

The former AS Monaco man did land 87% of the passes he attempted, and also managed one key pass, but it was his defensive play that was not up to the required standards. Here, he won just one of the four ground duels he contested, as well as one of the three aerial duels he took part in. Whilst he did make one tackle, he was dribbled past twice, and one error even led to a shot at goal for the opponents.

His display has just made Jurgen Klopp's decision an awful lot harder. The Merseyside outfit won every single Premier League match whilst he was ruled out of the action - during that run, Jordan Henderson has taken up a defensive midfield role. In the eight games he has played in that position, Liverpool conceded just two goals, and his recent performances have even led to calls for him be named Player of the Year.

Even though Fabinho was called the best defensive midfielder in the world by Gary Neville in September (Sky Sports via Metro), he cannot retain his place in the starting line-up on a regular basis on current form. Henderson has been slammed by portions of the club's fanbase in the past, but he has taken advantage of a his teammate's injury to increase his own stock. As captain, he has stepped into the breach wonderfully. For now, £63m-valued Fabinho - as per Transfermarkt - surely can't get a look in.

Elsewhere, Liverpool should try and sign this ace over Real Madrid's Isco.
