Liverpool may find themselves in a great position with regards to the future of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
According to Portuguese publication O Jogo, the 23-year-old is prepared to quit the club this summer after players were attacked by Sporting ultras.
The team were targeted following their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
The report states that Fernandes has been left terrified by the incident and intends to find a new club this summer.
Liverpool have plenty of attacking talent at their disposal, but if Jurgen Klopp wants to continue thriving with the Reds then he requires strength in numbers.
Fernandes has had an impressive season by scoring 16 goals and creating 12 assists in all competitions for Sporting.
If he was able to recreate that at Premier League level, then Liverpool would have another dimension in their midfield.
Once these reports emerged, though, supporters posted very mixed views on social media.
