Jurgen Klopp's reign as Liverpool manager is starting to cement itself. The Reds look to be getting the manager's high pressing philosophy as well as winning the ball back as soon as it is lost ensuring a number of memorable performances are already in the minds of the Anfield faithful.

It's a strategy that served Klopp incredibly well back in Germany as he won back to back titles with Borussia Dortmund as well as reaching the 2013 Champions League final meaning Reds fans are expecting similar achievements in the future under his leadership.

The former Dortmund boss has bought in a number of players in the Bundesliga to help him imprint his playing style suggesting that the German league is the most similar to his blueprint of how football should be played. Joel Matip and Loris Karius are in and there could ultimately, be a few more from his homeland before the window shuts.

Here at FootballFanCast we've been looking at some of the best the Bundesliga has to offer the Reds to come up with this FIVE...

Julian Brandt

Brandt has flown through the set up in the German national team and has made his senior debut - not bad for someone who only turned 20 this Summer.

He's made 65 appearances to date for Bayer Leverkusen - scoring 15 goals from the wing - and with that has Champions League experience. Liverpool's attack is in pretty good shape but Klopp is always looking for the next star he can develop - there's every chance it could be Brandt.

Max Meyer

Max Meyer (Schelke)

The main skill the Schalke central midfielder is his composure when running with the ball, he very rarely lets it go.

With Liverpool's playing style focussing on quick transitions and moving the ball quickly Meyer would surely fit in being the driving force in the Reds midfield and getting them up the pitch. Klopp may see Meyer as the perfect springboard for attacks and should test Schalke's resolve with a bid.

Mahmoud Dahoud

It's no real secret that Liverpool have been interested in signing the central midfielder. He's exactly the kind of player Jurgen Klopp would want to work with as he looks set to only get better after impressing last season.

The Syrian born German has five goals in 33 appearances for the German club Borussia Monchengladbach and it's likely only a large bid will dislodge him this Summer.

Karim Bellarabi

Bellarabi

Bellarabi has been at Bayer Leverkusen for some time now and knows exactly what it takes to perform on both the domestic and European stage.

Primarily a right winger he has ten international caps to his name and would give Liverpool some extra options in the wide positions. Sadio Mane has shown already what pace on the flanks can do and the Bellarabi would add to that.

Oscar Wendt

Oscar Wendt

If there's one thing Liverpool need more than anything else, it's a left back. Alberto Moreno has been put through the mill for his performances and whilst you may feel slightly sorry for him, there can be no doubt he's going to cost Liverpool games in the future.

The Reds need a dependable defender and Wendt would do the job, he's experienced and knows the position well so he should be a real target.
