Jose Enrique has only made two appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool this season. He played the full 90 against QPR and came on as a substitute against Tottenham. In both games, he was poor, failing to achieve a whoscored.com rating of 6+ in either. Since the 3-2 win against QPR, he hasn’t even made the Liverpool squad in the league.
Two seasons ago, the Spaniard was playing on a regular basis for the Reds and consistently impressed. However, after picking up a knee injury this time last year that put him out for the season, he fallen out of favour and replaced during last summer’s transfer window with fellow countryman Alberto Moreno.
It seems as though the 28-year-old has been replaced with a much younger model by manager Brendan Rodgers and his future at the club is almost certainly over. If it is, here are FIVE possible destinations he could transfer to:
