Lest we forget that failed Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson once fielded a squad in 2011 which included Paul Konchesky, Sotiris Kyrgiakos and Joe Cole, with Christian Poulsen and Milan Jovanovic on the bench. So maybe Neville wasn't too far wrong after all.

Sadio Mane is a great player though, we'll give him that.
