Liverpool fans on Twitter have been busy debating whether or not Domenico Berardi would be a good signing for the club, after the forward revealed his dream transfer; the majority feel that he isn’t up to the standard required.
The Sassuolo star recently revealed that if he could move to any club right now, it would be Liverpool.
Luis Suarez certainly had no qualms about celebrating against his former employers in the video below…
Berardi has scored nine goals and recorded five assists across all competitions this season, and with the Reds in need of quality back-up behind Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, the Italian international represents a decent option for the Merseysiders.
The 24-year-old has spent his entire career with Sassuolo, scoring 73 goals in just over 220 appearances for the Serie A side, and would assumingly be okay with a place on the bench at Anfield, seeing as he is not an elite name across Europe – this would be an intriguing proposition for the Reds as they seek players to bulk out the squad.
However, despite the pros of this potential move, not all Liverpool fans on Twitter are sold on the idea…
Domenico Berardi: “If I hear that it is the right proposal [to move away], to be taken on the fly, this time I will say to Sassuolo: ‘I’ll take it’.”
“Being able to choose, I would play in Liverpool.”

Personally don’t think hes good enough if we want to challenge for the title again next season ..? I would be happily proven wrong though

No. We’re now in that position where we could go after the bigger names.

In 2015 maybe, but now i dont think he is good enough, we need to aim for higher quality players

Our record with Italian players is terrible so unless he’s genuinely world class it wouldn’t be worth the hassle.

Nah. Bad move. He’s realized his career is rotten now

Looked like an exciting prospect some years ago, but he hasn’t lived up to his potential. Not anywhere near good enough for the current Liverpool side

He ain’t good enough. Plain and simple.

Would’ve died for him 2-3 years ago. Now not good enough.
