After Divock Origi spent last season on loan at Wolfsburg, the Liverpool striker would have hoped to force his way back into the team at Anfield.

For a while the Belgium international was next in line behind Roberto Firmino but after an impressive pre-season from Daniel Sturridge, the order changed.

The former Chelsea striker is now ahead of Origi in the pecking order and as a result, he has not made a single matchday squad this season.

With the January transfer window approaching, it seems that the 23-year-old could finally move on from the Merseyside outfit.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the club want in excess of £20m for the striker despite the fact that he is yet to make a first-team appearance.

The report mentions that Wolverhampton Wanderers were interested in striking a deal in the summer, but Origi rejected the move.

It is also believe that Liverpool's Merseyside rivals Everton are pondering an approach.

Will the Reds struggle to get a deal done because of the price, or is the valuation fair?
