With the January transfer window approaching, Premier League clubs are bound to regularly be linked with new players.

Liverpool had a positive summer by recruiting Fabinho, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri and goalkeeper Alisson.

Jurgen Klopp's team are in contention to win the Premier League title as they currently sit second in the standings, two points adrift of leaders Manchester City, who share an unbeaten run with the Reds.

Even though the Merseyside outfit are well-positioned to go all the way, there has been a creative element missing at Anfield.

With Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane failing to click collectively, there has not been much help from midfield in an attacking sense.

With that in mind, it is not hugely surprising that the club are being linked with numerous creative players.

One of them is Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic, who The Mirror recently reported is valued by the German club at around £70m.

The USA international, whose current contract expires in 2020, has already made 109 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit despite only being 20 years old.

In that time, Pulisic has scored 15 goals and registered 24 assists, but is he worth his price tag?
