Despite being very close to signing a pre-contract agreement with Italian giants Juventus, according to the BBC, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is still considering the many options he has at his disposal as his deal with the Gunners nears its expiration date.
The Welsh international has some of Europe’s top clubs vying for his signature, such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, but the aforementioned reports states that if the 28-year-old were to stay in England, his preferred move would be one to Anfield with Liverpool.
If the Reds were to nick the former Cardiff man from their Premier League rivals, it would be another huge coup for Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards, who have made a habit of being especially shrewd in the market recently.
A summer arrival on Merseyside for Ramsey would add goals and creativity to the league leaders’ midfield without spending a penny – Ramsey is a big game player, scoring multiple FA Cup-winning goals for the north London side, so his ability to do it on the big stage should interest Klopp who has often fallen short in cup finals.
