Whenever Liverpool’s attacking force is discussed, the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino come to mind.

Daniel Sturridge used to be the focal point of the Reds’ forward line, but now he is an outcast after dramatically falling down the pecking order.

The England international, who failed to earn a spot in the World Cup squad, was pivotal in the Reds’ 2013-14 campaign when they came inches within winning the Premier League title.

In fact, the forward has an impressive 74 top-flight goals to his name, but in recent seasons injuries have taken over.

Under manager Jurgen Klopp, Sturridge was never going to be the main man because he struggles to adapt to the system that the German has implemented.

In January, the forward was sent to West Bromwich Albion on loan, but once again, injuries hampered his progress.

Now, the 28-year-old’s future is unclear, but is it possible that he could make a comeback at Anfield if he maintains his fitness?

Should Klopp consider keeping hold of the striker, so that way he has another option to draw upon, or is it the end of the road for Sturridge?
