The man of the moment at West Ham United is certainly Declan Rice following his impressive performances in the middle of the park.
It seems that the 19-year-old has attracted plenty of attention from other clubs, and now Liverpool are believed to be interested.
According to a recent report in the Daily Star, the Reds are one of a handful of Premier League clubs who want to take advantage of the contract mess surrounding Rice.
The youngster’s deal at the London Stadium expires at the end of the season and he is no closer to agreeing to fresh terms.
The report states that Rice’s camp have rejected West Ham’s latest contract offer as they are not satisfied with the proposed salary.
The youngster is versatile in that he can play as a defensive midfielder or in the back line, but for Liverpool, they already have those positions covered.
So, does moving for Rice make sense?
