Liverpool have had an ideal start to the season as they have won all seven of their matches in all competitions so far.

Before the campaign began, Jurgen Klopp’s men were being touted as Premier League title contenders, and that view has strengthened given their winning run.

At the moment, the Merseyside outfit have a two-point lead at the top of the table, but they will certainly be tested in the coming weeks.

In the next five days, the club will take on Chelsea twice, with the first being a third round EFL Cup tie.

Liverpool will welcome their rivals to Anfield on Wednesday in the hope of progressing into the next phase of the competition.

Team selection will be key as Klopp will need to take into account the fact that his players will face Chelsea again on Saturday, but in an arguably more important league encounter.

Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson signed for the Reds from Roma in the summer, which pushed Simon Mignolet down the pecking order.

The Belgian is now second choice after Loris Karius left in the summer on loan.

Considering the significance of the games coming up, should Klopp rest Alisson and bring in Mignolet for the midweek game against Chelsea?
