Liverpool have certainly made improvements in the defensive department thanks to the arrival of Virgil van Dijk in January.

The Dutchman has given his teammates around him confidence, particularly Dejan Lovren.

However, if Jurgen Klopp's side want to continue progressing then they need to consider recruiting a new defender to partner Van Dijk.

Joel Matip, Ragnar Klavan and Lovren are the current options, but all three have shown vulnerabilities at the back.

Leicester City defender Harry Maguire, who joined the 2015-16 Premier League champions from Hull City last summer, has caught the eye with his performances this season.

The 25-year-old - valued at £13.5m by Transfermarkt - started every single Premier League game for the Foxes, and even contributed with two goals and four assists.

Maguire's form earned him a spot in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the World Cup in Russia.

The Sheffield-born defender may not be the most glamorous option for the Reds, but he is well versed in the Premier League and is constantly solid.

With that in mind, do you think that Klopp should make a move?
