Liverpool can boost their chances of reaching the knockout rounds of the Champions League even further on Tuesday night when they take on Red Star Belgrade.

The Merseyside outfit currently sit at the top of their group, but it will not be a stroll in the park for Jurgen Klopp's men in Serbia.

One man who will not be part of the action is Xherdan Shaqiri, who has been left out of the travelling party in order to avoid any politically-charged controversy.

The winger made his pro-Kosovo stance known in a goal celebration for Switzerland against Serbia during the World Cup.

It is fair to say that he would not have been warmly welcomed by Red Star fans had he been part of the squad.

Shaqiri's absence throws up a selection dilemma for Klopp in terms of the midfield trio - assuming he sticks with a 4-3-3 formation.

Naby Keita is expected to be fit for the tie, which means that he will be available alongside James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Adam Lallana and Fabinho.

So, who do you think Klopp should choose to line the middle of the park against Red Star?
