Daniel Sturridge out, Christian Benteke out, Danny Ings out for the rest of the season… Divock Origi it is then! Jurgen Klopp has been confronted with a mini injury crisis for his opening game at the helm of Liverpool, leaving the German with only the 20-year-old Belgian as a striking option.

Origi is by no means a rookie, he has after all scored in World Cup action for Belgium and has been a first-team regular for Lille in France for the best part of three seasons. Okay he’s not prolific, but in a team with the ‘new manager bounce’ phenomenon, who knows how he’ll do against Spurs!
