Liverpool as ever are on the hunt for the next star to take Anfield by storm. We’re expecting another January transfer window full of rumours about moves for talent across the continent.
The latest is a report from Italian outlet Calcio Mercato. They say Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing French youth international Amine Harit.
The Reds face tough competition from a number of big European clubs though, with AC Milan, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain also said to be interested.
Jurgen Klopp already has a number of talented youngsters at Anfield making an impression on the first team and if he’s good enough, the young Frenchman would likely get the opportunity to play regular football.
Harit has only emerged into the Nantes first team this season but has already made 18 appearances for the Ligue 1 side in 2016/17. He has the versatility to play in almost every midfield position, starting in 5 different positions so far.
The youngster’s first goal for the club came just the past weekend, helping Nantes to a 2-0 away win over Angers. It was vital given his side are struggling in the relegation zone.
Despite his teams lowly Ligue 1 position, the player is attracting plenty of attention has won 17 youth international caps for France already.
With that potential on offer, it’s clear to see why the likes of Liverpool are reportedly interested.
