Liverpool have been one of the more successful Premier League clubs in this summer's transfer window.

The club have made a statement by making Brazil's number one Alisson the most expensive goalkeeper in the world.

They have also recruited midfielders Fabinho and Naby Keita, as well as winger Xherdan Shaqiri.

With just three days left to go before the window slammed shut, many would have assumed that the Reds' spending was done.

For some time, there was some hope among the Liverpool faithful that a collapsed deal for Nabil Fekir would be revived, but it seems unlikely.

At the weekend, though, manager Jurgen Klopp caused a stir when asked by Sky Sports whether the club will make any last-minute signings.

The German coach replied by saying, "We'll see what happens", and then added a comment that has got plenty of fans talking.

The Liverpool Echo's James Pearce posted the remark on Twitter.

Some Liverpool supporters have interpreted it as Klopp saying that it is unlikely that his club will complete any more business, while others believe that he is hinting at more arrivals.
