Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has named Adam Lallana in his squad for Tuesday night’s Champions League group match against Sevilla.
The England international is yet to feature for the Reds this season after picking up a thigh injury during their preparations for the 2017-18 campaign.
However, the 29-year-old, who is valued at £22.5m by transfermarkt.co.uk, is now in line to make his return against Sevilla at the Estadio Ramon.
Lallana scored eight times in 35 appearances for the Merseyside club last season, and his return will boost a team that are again without the services of Joel Matip, with the centre-back remaining on the sidelines with a groin problem.
Liverpool will enter the match top of Group E on eight points, and a win in Seville would be enough to book their spot in the last-16 stage of the competition with one match to spare.
The reverse match at Anfield ended in a 2-2 draw back in September.
