Monaco are considering a move to sign Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli despite his desire to make his loan move to AC Milan permanent, Fichajes reports.
The 25-year-old completed a move to Anfield from Milan back in 2014 following the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona, but struggled to hold down a regular role on Merseyside.
He was then sent back to the Serie A giants on a season-long loan last summer and has now revealed his desire to remain in Italy.
However, the Ligue 1 side are hoping they can convince the former Manchester City striker to join them should they reach an agreement with the Reds over a reasonable fee.
Milan CEO Adriano Galliani previously admitted that he would consider a permanent deal for Balotelli if he is able to prove himself at the club.
He has already featured 19 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score three goals while providing another one assist.
