After losing in the League Cup final to Manchester City last season, Liverpool are looking in good form to seal Jurgen Klopp’s first piece of silverware this campaign as the Reds marched on in the EFL Cup.
A 2-0 victory over Leeds United last night secured Liverpool’s place in the semi-finals of the competition and the Reds are now one double-header away from another trip to Wembley, where they’ll look for redemption after two defeats in finals last season.
Whilst Liverpool could face top-class opponents in the next round, with both Manchester United and Arsenal looking to seal their spot in the draw this evening, Klopp’s side will be confident of overcoming whatever opponent they face due to their excellent run.

Liverpool entered the League Cup one-round earlier than Arsenal and Manchester United this season, due to a lack of involvement in European competitions, and have won all four of their matches since.
Scoring twelve goals and conceding just one, the Reds are in electric form in the competition and look to be the side to avoid when the draw for the semi-finals is made this week.
